This Is How We Lo It: A CNY Affair

Updated: 3 days ago

Yu Sheng, Tokyo Peking Duck, and a different way to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year has never really been about being subtle. It’s about noise, movement, people around a table, and a collective moment where everyone leans in at once. As we welcome the Year of the Horse — a year associated with momentum, confidence, and forward energy — it feels especially fitting for Neon Pigeon.

This Chinese New Year, This Is How We Lo It: A CNY Affair is a dinner-only, dine-in experience available from 26 January to 24 February, built around food meant to be shared and rituals meant to be felt, not followed by the book. Japanese technique meets Singapore tradition, with Neon Pigeon’s signature New York–Tokyo attitude running through it all.

The Menu

The Ritual, Reimagined

Lo Hei is as much about the moment as it is about the dish. Our team guides each table through the toss — confident, celebratory, and unforced. Expect raised voices, chopsticks in the air, and a table that doesn’t hold back.

If it feels a little extra, you’re doing it right.

This Is How We Lo It

Chinese New Year doesn’t have to look one way. At Neon Pigeon, it looks like shared plates, bold flavours, and tables that know how to celebrate.

As we step into the Year of the Horse, we wish you good fortune, full tables, and a Chinese New Year celebrated loudly, confidently, and together.

Happy Chinese New Year from all of us at Neon Pigeon.
