MAKING EVERY NIGHT OUT
BETTER THAN THE LAST

A Japanese Restaurant
Inspired by Izakayas

A Group shot of neon Pigeon Dishes served in the restaurant

For over a decade, Neon Pigeon has been one of Singapore’s most distinctive Japanese restaurants — a place inspired by the energy of Tokyo’s izakayas and the creativity of the city’s dining scene.

Born from a love of flavour, community, and culture, Neon Pigeon blends Japanese traditions with modern expression. It’s where familiar dishes are reimagined, cocktails are crafted with character, and every night feels a little unscripted — in the best way possible.

Our Story

When Neon Pigeon opened its doors in 2015, it set out to create something new: a space where people could eat, drink, and connect without pretense. Over the years, it has become a cornerstone of Singapore’s dining scene —

recognised by World’s 50 Best Discovery and celebrated for its inventive take on Japanese food and cocktails.

Led by Chef Sean Mell, and a team of passionate individuals, Neon Pigeon continues to evolve while staying true to its roots: a Japanese restaurant that thrives on creativity, connection, and a shared love for the izakaya spirit.

TRADITION DISRUPTED

Food & Drinks

At Neon Pigeon, food and drink share equal importance. The kitchen draws from Japanese techniques while adding layers of global influence — dishes that are familiar yet full of surprise, crafted for sharing and conversation.

On the bar side, the same philosophy applies. Our cocktails are built around Japanese ingredients like shochu, sake, yuzu, and umeshu — mixed with a sense of creativity and balance that keeps each visit fresh.

Together, they define the Neon Pigeon experience: expressive flavours, thoughtful craft, and the kind of dining that brings people together.

to serve great food, craft great drinks, and make every night out one worth talking about.
